With news about the personal life of the next head of MI6, Sir John Sawers, having been removed from Facebook making the headlines today. One has to ask how long before we all have to officially declare what social networks we belong to or other cyber data that may be out there.
As a civil servant I already have to declare what radical political party I belong to, or membership of 'subversive' groups like the Freemasons etc. So how would you feel if you had to declare every minute detail of you personal life to ensure your employment?

I'm afraid in the past I've "spoiled" forms with such comments as "undecided" or "guess"

*shudders* @ the fear mongering !

With me it's very much a case of what you see is what you get - but then , people do see different things.
There is a paradox to revealing everything; even if you did reveal every minute detail about yourself , they would still be non the wiser and would be making up their own minds about who you were and what makes you tick
