The sad news of Michael Jackson's death is overshadowed by the vulgar amount of money being banded about, for which he earned, then lost before finally getting into debt.
Over his 40 year reign of the pop industry he has earned in excess of $700m, which would equate to $47,912 a day. But now it has been revealed that he proberbly owes between $300m-$500m to creditors.
The question is who now picks up the pieces? Will his back catalogue be used to pay back a lot of what he owes, and what will be left for his off spring?

Bo and I were wondering about that yesterday, because the reason for the planned tour was to pay off his debts. The huge amounts of money is quite hard for me to imagine really. The figures are so vast my mind boggles.
