A daredevil Catholic priest Adelir Antonio di Carli has been made Darwin Award of the year 2008. The Priest who was killed after floating out to sea suspended by 1,000 helium-filled party balloons has been honoured for his idiocy.
His body was discovered off the south-eastern coast of Brazil three months later .

Pro What exactly were his plans there? What was he going to eat? If he had trouble getting down safely then surely the good old popping one balloon at a time should have occured to him!
