A father and his three children had an accident on a flume ride at an amusement park when there combined weight exceeded the recommended limit.

With a recommended weight of 700 pounds (50 stone) for 4 riders the combined weight of John D. Lenahan, 41, his son John Lenahan, 15, and two younger children - Ronald, 14, and Julianna, 11 ranged between 60-65 stone.
John senior bit his tongue and was knocked unconscious. John junior was also knocked out and treated for a chin laceration.
The two younger children suffered cuts, bumps and bruises.
