A New Zealand judge made a 9 year old girl ward of court because she was teased by the name her parents had given her and wanted it changed.
Her parents had called her 'Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii'.

This is one of a number of strange names children in NZ have been called, some of which have been blocked by registrars.

Some of the blocked names were: Yeah Detroit; Stallion; Twisty Poi; Keenan Got Lucy; Sex Fruit; Fat Boy; Cinderella Beauty Blossom; and a set of twins called Fish and Chips.

Whereas names that have been accepted include: Violence; Number 16 Bus Shelter; Midnight Chardonnay; and another set of twins called Benson and Hedges.
