CNN report this morning 'U.S. Preparing for battlefield Iran' Apparently the Bush administration has launched a "significant escalation" of covert operations in Iran
This includes sending U.S. commandos to spy on the country's nuclear facilities and undermine the Islamic republic's government.
Is this what Bush wants to leave as his legacy, leading the western world into an all out war with Islam? Looks like one of the four horsemen has finally shown his face.

Pro It's been guessed at and hinted at for a long time now. It should be no surprise if it does happen, although the fallout from it will be utterly catastrophic.

I read that commentators think that if McCain looks likely to win, then the Bush administration won't push for military action against Iran. If, however, Obama looks likely to win, then the Bush administration will go ahead.
