A South Korean known only as Park, has unsuccessfully sued his ex girlfriend for all the money and presents he lavished on her before she jilted him.
After they split in March Park made her sign a written promise to repay the sum he allegedly spent on their dates. When she failed to comply, he went to court.

The lower court ruled in his favour but the high court decided she had been coerced into signing the promise.
