ah, wondered whether it was my broadband, but BCUK does seem to have been very sluggish earlier on, but seems to have improved tonight...and no ads here...where are they if they do appear? Don't recall ever seeing any on mine, but I've got an ad blocker which really works so maybe that's why I haven't...

Hi P,
I have had these unsolicited porn ads for several days and am fed up with them. I had someone visit my site last night, (11th Dec) saying they were not very nice. I messed around with my browser settings and the ads suddenly disappeared. I don't think the settings made any difference as I have returned the settings to their usual status and the ads have not returned, and long may it stay so.
Do you know if anyone complained about this state of affairs to Blog?-

I e-mailed admin and low and behold they disappeared. They haven't said anything about it but I presume the site was hijacked.

Who did you email? I tried finding a link and ended up in Germany with a sister blog site I couldn't communicate with -= no German of any consequence = and anyway, it wouldn't have given me what I was seeking.
Kiki got a contact from someone in Blog who read her site and they blamed Google. I reckon that is only a part of the problem, if that is the case. -

Yes they do look familiar I am glad it is not me, but perhaps they are trying to make us all go pro so we can disable the ads.
